# Response

> The sequence of channel responses the server sends, what ends it, and what a finish with nothing before it means.

The server sends no frame on the channel.

- **Nothing on the channel.** The server sends no channel response
  and no channel response finish on the channel. The response finish
  of the scope states, as [Scopes](/2.3.0/frames/scopes/) provides, that no
  frame bearing the scope follows on any channel.
- **After the request.** The server sends no further channel
  response on any channel of the scope after it has received the
  request, except channel responses already in flight, and sends the
  response finish of the scope.
