Request

The payload of the channel request: the tag byte 1 and nothing more.

The payload of the channel request is exactly one byte:

[1]
  • No parameter. The channel request carries nothing after the tag. A server ignores every byte that follows the tag.

The channel request is defined by diverge-sdk-rs/src/provider/endpoints/daemons/accept/client/channel_request/frame.rs:

//! What a client's channel request frame carries on an accept scope.

use std::fmt;

use crate::shared::containers::daemon;
use crate::wire::decode::Decode;
use crate::wire::encode::{Encode, Writer};

/// What the accepting daemon asks the provider for while it accepts.
///
/// A payload leads with one byte saying which, and the rest is that
/// variant's own bytes.
///
/// | tag | asks for |
/// |-----|----------|
/// | `0` | [`Connection`](Self::Connection) |
/// | `1` | [`Stop`](Self::Stop) |
