OCI manifest

Tag 0: the client asks the server for the manifest of an image the server holds for it, by digest; the server answers with at most one channel response, the media type and the bytes, and the channel response finish; a finish with nothing before it states that the server does not hold the digest for the client.

The client opens this channel to pull a manifest the server holds for it: the manifest the digest names, including the manifest of a platform an index names.

  • The request. The tag byte 0 followed by the digest as JSON. Request states its form.
  • The response. At most one channel response, the media type and the manifest verbatim, and the channel response finish. Response states the sequence.
  • Held for the client. The server answers the manifest only of an image it holds for the client, as images::oci states. A digest it does not hold for the client is answered with the channel response finish and nothing before it.
